Digiweb Limited has announced the appointments of Michael Doyle, to head it’s Finance department; Brian O’Connell, to lead it’s expanding Sales organisation; and Dan King to spearhead Digiweb’s Hosting and Managed Services division. Michael, a qualified accountant (ACMA) and experienced banker, joins Digiweb as Head of Finance. Until recently with the Corporate unit of Lombard (a division of Royal Bank of Scotland) and prior to that with diverse experience across Bank of Ireland Corporate and Business Banking, and domestic and international Finance. Brian has extensive experience developing sales strategies and leading sales teams across multiple sales channels and has held senior sales and marketing positions with both Dell and Oracle. He has worked with a number of high profile technology and consumer companies in significantly growing their market share. Dan has spent the last nine years working with Internet technologies, particularly in the area of web and Internet infrastructure. More recently as Technical Operations Manager with Hosting 365, Dan has been extensively involved in the development and on-going management of a number of key outsourced managed services solutions, including many of Ireland’s most traffic-intensive and successful websites. Digiweb to use e-net for national fibre services

* Digiweb sign deal with e-net for access to all MANs nationwide * Digiweb to offer direct fibre services to business customers * Digiweb unique in ability to offer wireless resilience to fibre connection * 3 major corporate customers already confirmed for service * Part of Digiweb’s LLU plans Digiweb Ltd has today announced it’s intention to provide direct fibre services nationally to Business Customers using the fibre provided by e-net on the Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs). This will mark Digiweb’s entry into the higher end business and corporate market for Customers who require a 99.999% Service Level Agreement for mission critical data and voice services. Digiweb will also have the unique ability to offer full physical resilience to the fibre MANs using wireless technologies adding both physical and logical resilience to this high end service, a facility which is not currently offered by any other provider. Three corporate customers have already signed up for the service which is now available on all MANS with immediate effect. Digiweb achieve massive growth

* Turnover up 285% at €5.6m * Gross profit up 220% at €2.7m * Significant announcements in coming weeks Digiweb Ltd has recorded it’s most successful year to date, with turnover to December 2005 increased by 285% to just over €5.6m up from €1.96m in 2004 and gross profit stood at just under €2.7m up from €1.22m in the same period. Growth is primarily attributed to the rapid growth in Broadband subscriptions, in particular to the company’s flagship “Metro” product which offers very high speed data and voice services. Strong growth was also recorded in DSL and Satellite subscriptions. Digiweb plans to continue this growth trajectory during 2006, with the expansion of Metro to a further 20 Irish locations, and to a number of locations in Europe. This year will also see an aggressive attack on the Hosting and Managed Services business and the company will enter the mobile data market later in the year. Digiweb announce €8.5m broadband and voice expansion with “Metro-20” project

* 20 New Metro locations to be built in Ireland in 2006 * Offering download speeds starting at 3Mbps and upload speeds of 512kbps * Follows success of Metro’s pilot in Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Limerick, Galway and Dundalk * €8.5m euro investment in Broadband in Ireland by Digiweb to make Metro Broadband available to over 60% of the entire population in 2006 Digiweb Ltd has today announced an €8.5m investment in Broadband in Ireland with the announcement of the “Metro-20” project. Metro-20 will greatly extend the reach of Digiweb’s next generation wireless Metro network. It will add new Metro Locations to the network and also add extra reach to Dublin and some of the existing locations. Metro offers a very high speed broadband service along with a phone service to home and business users. Metro uses the very same technology used by cable operators to deliver ultra high-speed services to end users however it adds the benefits and speeds of the most advanced wireless technology available to bring the services to the end users. Each Metro site is capable of covering an area equivalent to at least 80 square kilometres. Digiweb have also concluded the first round of evaluations for the rollout of Wideband Data services using their national 900Mhz license recently awarded by Comreg. Wideband data services will offer broadband equivalent speeds with Voice over IP and the benefit of true mobility with cell sizes of up to 70KM.
