* Digiweb to Double staff in coming months
* New offices to open in Citywest, Dublin and Limerick
* Gearing up to support Digiweb’s soon to be launched next generation communications network
Broadband provider Digiweb today announced that the company will double staff numbers to 120 before the end of 2005 and is opening new offices in Dublin and Limerick immediately.
The new Dublin office is located in Citywest Business Park and will support the Company’s looming launch into the Dublin market. The new recruitment drive will staff the Dublin and Limerick offices, and add to existing personnel at Digiweb’s Dundalk and Waterford locations.
Commenting on the expansion, Colm Piercy, Managing Director stated “In March of this year we promised that Digiweb would redefine broadband in Ireland before the end of 2005 and over the coming weeks we will make good on our promise. Our new network will redefine market expectations of broadband and telephony services in Ireland . These services are going to be a big hit and we’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated professionals to join our team for this exciting expansion”.
The planned new telephony and broadband services will extend to many more customers than existing broadband offerings can reach, and will not require customers to have a traditional copper line to avail of full service telephony and broadband services.
Uniquely in this highly competitive market Digiweb commit to opening their network to other operators who wish to avail of flexible wholesale last-mile access to provide their own telecoms services to end-users.
